The Holden Grey motor is often referred to as the Holden side plate. The engine earned its name as they were painted grey from the factory. They came in 2 sizes, 138ci and 132ci. More engineering and after market modifications have gone into this engine than any other engine in Australian automotive history.

FJ History passed a new owner

Just Sold and passed to a new owner log booked howlin humpy FJ Holden speedway car.

Sold with no engine, but a grey engine suit reco came with it.
Needed restoration ( depends looks cool as is ), miner rust, eh front end, 3 on the tree gearbox
Some dints in front bar,lh guard, and bonnet chrome, its a speedway car ( dints add character )
This car has done laps of Holden proving ground track at lang lang at 60th Holden celebrations with some other humpy speedway cars, the photos are in one of Don Loffler's books, was last raced by Dean Rogers in about 1999.
